El Paso Orthopeadic Surgery Group offers minimally invasive surgical procedures as well as more complex procedures. Our goal is to get you back to a pain-free life as quickly as possible. Our team of professionals will guide you through your care journey from testing to post-treatment and rehabilitation.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is one of the most common hand/wrist ailments we see. It can be a very painful condition that involves burning, tingling and pain in the fingers and hand. The pain can sometimes be treated with ice or a brace, but in some cases surgery is required. Surgery for CTS involves cutting the transverse carpal ligament to relieve pressure on the median nerve. Our doctors will walk you through every detail of the surgery if we determine a surgical treatment is best for you.
