Dr. Rasooli is a board-qualified foot & ankle surgeon who earned his undergraduate degree with honors in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and earned his medical degree with honors from Barry University, School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida.
Dr. Rasooli completed three years of extensive surgical training in Palo Alto, California at the Veterans Affair / Stanford Healthcare residency program. Dr. Rasooli trained at Stanford University, Kaiser Permanente, Sports Orthopedic and Rehab, a premier orthopedic group in the San Francisco Bay Area. Following residency, Dr. Rasooli pursued an ACFAS recognized foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Sutter Health-Palo Alto Medical Foundation focusing on trauma, reconstructive surgery and joint replacement.
Dr. Rasooli enjoys participating in medical missions and most recently traveled to Can Tho, Vietnam with a team of renowned Podiatric and Orthopedic Surgeons, performing Foot and Ankle deformity correction.
Dr. Rasooli’s practice is committed to getting his patients back to their pre-injury state through the most modern and effective, evidence-based medicine techniques available. His areas of special interest include: fracture care, total ankle replacement, ankle arthroscopy, minimally invasive procedures, revisional foot and ankle surgery, regenerative and sports medicine.
